Painting Dragons

In theme with Fire Dragon Festival, workshop attendees will be encouraged and guided through a painting process to paint their own Chinese dragon as an informative cultural learning process.
Participants will use watercolour paints and all materials will be provided free of charge.
Workshop Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm
Registration: Drop in, 3-5 students per session

About Gal
Gal 敏怡 (they/she) is a queer fourth-generation Chinese settler residing in so-called “Vancouver” with deep familial roots in the local Chinatown. Gal’s focus on using art as a tool for advocacy ignites their creative journey. Gal also co-founded Chinatown Together, a local grassroots organization focused on combating gentrification through arts and culture, community education, and mutual aid.
